This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the Site uses, why, for how long, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data generally.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, push notification subscriptions and third party scripts that read information from your browser. In this policy the word “cookie” covers all of these unless stated otherwise.
Cookies are either first party (set by agentguangzhou.com) or third party (set by another domain whose content or script is loaded on the page). They are either session cookies, deleted when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, kept until a set expiry date or until you delete them.
2. Legal basis
In the EU, the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as implemented in each member state), in the UK the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, and in Switzerland Article 45c of the Telecommunications Act require that we:
- may store or read information on your device without consent only where it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested or to transmit a communication, and
- must obtain your consent before storing or reading anything else, for example analytics or advertising cookies.
Personal data collected through cookies is then processed under the legal bases described in the Privacy Policy: legitimate interest for strictly necessary cookies (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and consent for all others (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
The Site’s cookie banner is provided by the Complianz consent tool. Nothing other than strictly necessary cookies is set until you make a choice in the banner. The Site also shows a short notice bar stating that the Site “uses cookies and stores limited data to improve your experience and offer customer service via WhatsApp”. Clicking “I Agree” on that bar records your acknowledgement of the notice; it does not enable optional cookies, which are governed by the Complianz banner alone.

3.2 Functional: browser push notifications (consent required)

The WonderPush script is loaded on the Site. It does not send notifications and does not create a persistent identifier until you click “Allow” in the browser’s own notification prompt. Refusing or ignoring that prompt has no effect on the rest of the Site.
3.3 Statistics and marketing (consent required, currently not active)
We do not currently run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or any comparable analytics tool. Our page code contains references to Microsoft Clarity and to Facebook (Meta), which are reserved for optional use. If we enable either of them, it will happen only after you consent in the Complianz banner and this section will be updated with the exact cookie names. The typical cookies would be:

4. Third party content that is not a cookie but behaves like one
- cdnjs.cloudflare.com. The Site loads the Font Awesome icon library from this content delivery network. Your browser sends its IP address and standard request headers to Cloudflare to fetch the file. No cookie is set by cdnjs itself, but Cloudflare’s server logs record the request. This is strictly necessary for the Site to display correctly.
- WhatsApp links (wa.me). Clicking a WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp in a new window or the WhatsApp app. From that moment WhatsApp and Meta process your data under their own terms and may set cookies on their own domains. We do not embed any WhatsApp or Meta script on our pages for those links; they are plain links.
- Cookie Database (cookiedatabase.org). The Complianz banner links to cookiedatabase.org for descriptions of standard cookie purposes. Following that link takes you to a third party site.
5. How to withdraw or change your consent
Cookie banner. You can reopen the Complianz banner at any time using the “Manage consent” link in the Site footer, or the floating cookie icon where shown. There you can enable or disable each category. Changes take effect immediately; cookies already set by a category you disable are deleted or blocked on the next page load where technically possible.
Push notifications. To stop notifications, click the notification’s settings icon, or go to your browser’s site settings for agentguangzhou.com and set Notifications to “Block”. This revokes the token and no further notifications can be sent.
Browser controls. All major browsers let you view, delete and block cookies:

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working, for example the security challenge or the language choice.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. The Site honours the Global Privacy Control signal for the purpose of the CCPA opt out. As we do not sell or share personal data, the signal changes nothing in practice, but it is respected.
6. Data collected through cookies
The data collected through the cookies listed above is limited to the identifiers in the tables, your IP address and technical data about your browser. How this data is used, who receives it, where it is transferred and how long it is kept is described in the Privacy Policy, sections 3, 6, 7 and 8. Cloudflare and WonderPush act as our processors. Meta acts as an independent controller once you leave the Site through a WhatsApp link.
7. Changes
We review this policy whenever we add or remove a service that sets cookies, and at least once a year. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
