Agent Guangzhou · Your team in China
Turn your product idea into an approved production order.
OEM manufacturing in China needs clear specifications, controlled sample changes and realistic production quantities. Agent Guangzhou coordinates factory communication, development samples, private-label packaging and manufacturing follow-up for commercial projects.

A stock product with your logo, a modified factory design and an entirely new product require different budgets and lead times. Private labeling may use an existing design with customized branding and packaging. ODM work may adapt a supplier design. OEM development may require your own drawings, specifications and tooling.
We begin by identifying which route suits your commercial goal and what the factory needs to quote. A reference photo can describe an appearance, but it cannot establish material, structure, performance or ownership rights. You should provide designs you are entitled to use and explain which elements are essential.
Our role is factory and project coordination. Engineering design, safety validation, specialist testing and intellectual-property advice need qualified providers when the product requires them. Their deliverables and fees should be part of the development plan.
Build a production specification that can be checked
- Dimensions, materials, finishes, colors and permitted tolerances.
- Required functions, intended use and performance criteria.
- Brand artwork, logo position and print or application method.
- Packaging dimensions, protection, labels and carton markings.
- Assembly instructions, accessories and spare parts.
- Destination requirements supplied by your importer or specialist.
For multi-part products, agree how the components fit together. For furniture, this may mean hardware, joints, upholstery and assembly. For an electrical item, technical suitability needs review by the appropriate specialist. Write down unresolved questions before they turn into production assumptions.
Samples, revisions and production approval
Sample development is a decision process. We coordinate requests, communicate feedback and keep the revisions traceable. Your review should compare the sample with the specification and explain each change required, rather than give a general instruction such as “improve quality.”
If a factory changes a material, finish or component during sampling, ask whether the change affects unit cost, tooling, testing or lead time. The approved sample should be linked to the final written specification. Packaging samples may need separate approval because the product sample alone does not show how the finished order will survive handling.
Do not treat sample approval as permission for every future substitution. Record which changes need your approval during production, and plan the inspection criteria before the bulk order begins.
Tooling, development cost and supplier terms
Custom molds, dies, jigs and other tooling can create substantial costs before production starts. Ask what the development fee covers, how revisions are charged, who owns the tooling, where it is stored and whether it can be moved. Tooling life, maintenance and replacement need explicit terms where relevant.
A development plan should distinguish sample timing from bulk production timing. Supplier minimum quantities may be driven by raw-material purchases, packaging printing or component requirements. We help communicate and compare the supplier options, while you decide whether the investment fits your order plan.
Keep the approved product connected to the factory floor
Once an order is approved, the specification must remain usable by the production team. We coordinate progress updates, clarify supplier questions and bring changes back for a decision. Production follow-up and inspections are separately defined tasks within the project scope.
For private-label goods, check packaging artwork and product labels against the current version before printing. A wrong barcode, language or carton label can make a correct product difficult to receive or sell. If you plan delivery to a fulfillment center, provide its current preparation requirements before packing is ordered.
Use quality control and inspections to verify the agreed characteristics and consolidation and shipping support to connect product readiness to dispatch. Brand websites and launch materials can be discussed through our brand launch service.
OEM and private-label questions
Can you manufacture from a photograph?
A photograph can start a discussion, but custom production usually needs dimensions, materials, construction details and performance requirements before a reliable quote is possible.
Can I order a few samples without a commercial project?
We coordinate development samples within accepted wholesale or manufacturing projects. Our sourcing offer is for established businesses with large orders, rather than sample-only purchasing.
Does a passed sample prove the entire order will match?
No. A sample is a reference. The bulk order still needs production controls and inspection against the agreed requirements.
